I have been an avid hunter and fisherman since my youth and have been in the insurance business for over 37 years. I am a Charter and Life Member of the West Virginia Bowhunters Association and served in many capacities including President. I am a Regular Member of the Professional Bowhunters Society and also served as a Councilman and its President. I am a past member of the Board of the International Bowhunter Education Foundation and am also a member of many clubs and organizations including the NRA and NWTF. I am a senior member of the Pope & Young Club. In 1995 I was honored with my election to the West Virginia Bowhunters Association's Hall of Fame.

I have also been a very active member of the Professional Independent Insurance Agents., of West Virginia and currently am a boardmember after serving as President and State/National Director as well as Treasurer.

With my experience as both a sportsman and insurance agent in 1990 I established Outdoor Underwriters, Inc. an insurance agency that offered liability coverage to guides. outfitters, hunting clubs, rod and gun clubs. I merged that agency with OutdoorsInsurance.Com,inc. in 2002, and we continue to offer liability as well as other types of coverage and service with the same dedication and enthusiasm that you provide to your clients.

Another person in the agency with whom you'll probably be in contact with is Barbara Eikleberry. She has been a part of the operation since it's very beginning. One of her main responsibilities is to service our clients for any type of question, change, update, renewal invoicing in addition to processing certificates of insurance and new business. Using insurance terminology she is a Commercial Lines Representative (CSR) but her responsibilities are much more extensive. She was previously with the Berry-Bippus­Chison-Foose Insurance Agency in Wheeling. WV from March 1984 to March 200 3) as well as Outdoor Underwriters, Inc from 1990 to 2002. She began her insurance career with the Aetna Casualty & Surety Company in their Wheeling. WV regional service center as a commercial lines rater.
